Black Lens Events — Returns & Refunds

At Black Lens Events we want you to be happy with your purchase. This policy sets out your rights and how to return an item. It does not affect your statutory rights under UK law.

Your right to cancel (14-day cooling-off period)

If you are a consumer in the UK, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. To cancel, contact us at support@blacklensevents.com within this period. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods.

Returns window

In addition to your statutory rights, we accept returns of unused items in their original condition and packaging within [30] days of delivery.

Condition of returns

Items must be returned unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging with all accessories and components included. We may reduce your refund to reflect any loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary.

Return shipping costs

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will process your refund to your original payment method within 14 days. This includes standard delivery costs, though we may deduct the cost of any premium delivery option you chose.

Faulty or incorrect items

If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Contact us at support@blacklensevents.com with your order number and photos, and we will cover the cost of resolving the issue.

Made-to-order items

Certain products (including our LED dance floors and other items produced to order) are manufactured specifically for you. [Where goods are made to your specification or clearly personalised, the statutory right to cancel may not apply.] Please contact us before ordering if you are unsure.

How to return an item

1. Contact support@blacklensevents.com with your order number.

2. We will confirm the return address and any reference needed.

3. Package the item securely and send it using a tracked service.
